Nurse (Cardiac Cath Lab)

About the Position: Position is located with the 60th Medical Group, on Travis Air Force Base, CA, in the Pulmonary Services Department. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.

Provide comprehensive advanced level nursing care to patient in the Cardiovascular Procedure Unit.

Assist physicians during high-acuity cardiovascular procedures such as cardiac catheterization, thrombolytic therapy, pericardiocentesis, and endomyocardial biopsies.

Collaborate with other interdisciplinary care providers and/or teams to coordinate patient care and education.

Administer a variety of medications to patients.

Operate, interpret, and troubleshoot specialized cardiovascular equipment and monitoring systems to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
