Physician (Aerospace Medicine)

About the Position: This position is located at 60th Medical Group, Base Operational Med Clinic, within David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, CA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized.

Provide aerospace medical care to flyers, missile crews, and others with special standards of medical qualifications.

Examine personnel to determine fitness for flying and special duties, or to recommend continuance, removal, or return to flying status and aviation service.

Perform occupational physical examinations of various types including pre-placement, medical surveillance, medical qualification, disability retirement, fitness for duty, and any other special employee examinations that may be required.

Coordinate with facility and community resources to provide comprehensive work-related care to employees

Provide the full scope of primary and preventative health care services to military members and beneficiaries.
