Payroll management starts with better people data.

Talon is building a beta payroll workspace that helps teams prepare each pay run from the changes already happening across people operations — with clearer review, ownership, and handoff.

Connected workflow

Context stays with the work.

Product depth

The work around the work, finally connected.

Talon is designed around the handoffs that usually create friction, duplicate effort, or missing context.

01

A pay-run view of relevant people changes

02

Review steps that make exceptions and approvals visible

03

A clear handoff from people operations to payroll processing

04

Absence context available alongside payroll preparation

How it works

One clear path from first action to outcome.

  1. 1

Collect the people changes that matter for the pay period.

  2. 2

Review changes, exceptions, and the information still needed.

  3. 3

Confirm the handoff with the right owner before processing.

  4. 4

Keep the preparation record connected to the team’s people operations.

Straight answers

Questions teams ask before they begin.

Is Talon payroll management live?+

It is in beta. The initial focus is preparing and reviewing payroll inputs, rather than presenting a finished statutory payroll engine.

Does the beta calculate tax or statutory deductions?+

Not yet. We are deliberately not claiming tax, jurisdictional, or compliance calculations while the beta is focused on cleaner preparation and handoff.

How does absence connect to payroll preparation?+

Approved absences are an important people-operations signal. The beta is being designed so those signals are easier to review when a pay run is prepared.
