About the Position: This position is with the the Directorate of Branch Clinics within the Health Clinic Presidio in Monterey, California. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
Perform complete and advanced oral prophylaxis on ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients.
Expose, develop, process, and mount radiographs including bite wing, periapical, and panoramic x-rays.
Make repairs and adjustments to teeth by smoothing rough edges, remove overhanging margins, reduce sharp edges, and insert temporary fillings.
Examine patient's mouth, throat, and pharynx, referring abnormalities to dentist.
Interpret routine x-rays to identify tooth structures, calculus, and abnormalities.
