Nurse (Ambulatory Care)

About the Position: This position is located General Leonard Wood Community Hospital Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.

Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

Provide professional nursing care through the delivery, management, and coordination of care and services in a clinic setting.

Make independent nursing diagnoses by analyzing assessment data to determine patient care needs, i.e., preventive services, health promotion, health maintenance, or health-related problems or issues.

Assist providers with procedures and treatments.

Evaluate patients/caregivers' understanding of current health and health literacy. Incorporate patient care outcome goals and ensures appropriate care coordination.

Participate in continuing education programs and engage in evidence-based improvement projects to update and/or maintain skills and advance clinical practice.
