Target Systems Maintenance Worker (MVO)

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce for to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located at Fort Polk, Louisiana. This is a Term position Not to Exceed (NTE) 4 Years. Term positions may be extended beyond six years up to 8 years.

Use practical knowledge of computer systems' hardware and software and general knowledge of Information Technology standards, policies and techniques approved for use within the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization, and Security (DPTMS).

Ensures that supporting generators are operational.

Require a working knowledge of various types and sizes of wires, connectors, and plugs

Replaces batteries, switches, cables, coil boxes, microcircuits and targets.

Assists Range Branch personnel in computer systems, equipment and applications used in range operations.

Inspects and troubleshoots electrical pop-up target mechanisms.
