Nurse (Occupational Health)

About the Position: This position is located at the Naval Health Clinic, Corpus Christi. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Plan, develop, organize and manage a comprehensive Occupational Health services program.

Identify Occupational Health Program goals through interdisciplinary collaboration with industrial hygienist, safety managers, physicians and supported commands.

Review and evaluate program operations and recommend or implement changes in internal procedures and policies, as required, to meet workload demands and to promote a more efficient and effective workflow.

Serve as technical expert and resource for managers, assigned and guest health care providers and employees regarding occupational health issues.

Provide nursing assessment, diagnosis and treatment, and nursing care of occupational injuries and illnesses.

Assist provider with appropriate pre-employment, pre-placement, periodic and termination physical examinations.
