Job description

Selections for available positions located at Pine Ridge, SD and Kyle, SD. The incumbent will perform technical medical records coding assignments designed for accurate claims submission. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R.

Review clinical documentation for quality, analyze records for compliant billing. Identify documentation deficiencies and initiate clarification request.

Assist providers in identifying missing diagnoses, specificity to clinical linkages and supporting indicators. *This position is being announced concurrently under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP) procedures.
