Salary contains multiple steps. In most cases, the salary is set at the minimum salary for the grade applicant(s) is selected.

This position is also being announced to applicants eligible to apply through Merit Staffing procedures under 26-CAE-13039811-MS.

If selected for this position, you will serve as a Human Resources Specialist in the United States Attorney's Office, Eastern District of California, Fresno Branch Office. You will provide a variety of human resources management services in two or more of the following functional areas: employee benefits, employee relations and performance management, personnel security, human resource development, employee compensation, recruitment and placement, and position classification. If selected, you will receive formal and/or on-the-job training as needed. Duties include: Providing assistance in the administration of benefits programs Providing advice and assistance on performance management Ensures that all pre-employment security requirements are met for all levels of positions Identifying training and development needs Using automated staffing systems to process applications and issue certificates Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
