Dental Laboratory Technician

About the Position: This position is located at the 99th Medical Group at Nellis AFB, Nevada. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.

Complete all preliminary cast and articulation steps required in the fabrication of restorations/appliances to ensure a properly produced product.

Clean and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure proper working operation.

Use appropriate metal alloys to be applied to porcelain application and soldering procedures.

Perform laboratory remounts, adjust occlusion and republish complete and partial denture prostheses.

Assist the supervisor to plan, organize and direct case assignments, workloads and production schedules of fixed and removable prostheses performed in the section.
