Job description

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. You will develop new methods, approaches and procedures to test and optimize the functionality of systems, networks, and data.

You will manage and oversee the continuity of operations for OPM, DOW and DON enterprise systems and applications deployed within the DON in support of the full HR life-cycle, hire to separation, of the civilian workforce.

You will evaluate and recommend adoption of new or enhanced approaches to delivering IT services conducts analyses and recommends resolution of complex issues.

You will prepare and present reports, representing the organization in interactions with other organizations and provides technical leadership on group projects.

You will in collaboration with key stakeholders and senior leadership, identify and define business or technical requirements applied to the design, development, implementation, management and support of software and information systems.

You will be responsible for continuous review, analysis, design, modification, development, and evaluation of information systems ensuring compliance to DOW and Secretary of Navy (SECNAV) Instructions.

You will be responsible for setting priorities, preparing schedules, and assigning tasks based on employee skills and project demands.

You will complete performance management tasks, communicating expectations, holding subordinates accountable, promoting development and training, and addressing performance and conduct issues.
