Podiatrist

The position is located at the Warm Springs Service Unit at the Warm Springs Health & Wellness Center in Warm Springs, OR. The primary purpose is to serve as the recognized authority in podiatric medicine, providing comprehensive podiatric medical and surgical services. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R.

37.5 (2021).

Provides expert podiatric surgical and medical care including prevention, health maintenance, early diagnosis, complex surgical and follow up services. Serves as consultant to other healthcare professionals in all matters pertaining to podiatric patient care. Interviews, examines patients, reviews past medical history and request and/performs diagnostic test and examinations as necessary.

Educate patients on nature of illness and its treatment and any needed follow-up. Document all encounters in Electronic Health Record using approved templates and formats.
