The position is in the United States Attorney's Office ("USAO") located in Dallas, TX. If selected for this position, you will serve as Lead Legal Administrative Specialist (Litigation Support) duties will include, but are not limited to: Explaining and setting team goals, priorities, and objectives, and providing information to the supervisor on team performance. Oversees team members and monitors workload to ensure it is balanced among team members in accordance with established workflow, while also assisting with tasks and the workload. Creates and implements districtwide protocols for case information (discovery) submitted to the LTU as well as protocols for LTU processing.
Assesses training needs and provides training to team members on all aspects of litigation support functions. Providing analyses of systems and complex data to improve trial results and team services. Planning, creating, and coordinating litigation support services including trial preparation and presentation. Analyzing litigation support software and support systems and taking action to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Organizing, tracking and analyzing voluminous amounts of digital evidence for complex cases handled by the U.S. Attorney's Office. Clearly, effectively, and respectfully communicating information related to assignments, work orders, issues, solutions, and project status to a wide variety of individuals, including attorneys, supervisors, and other office staff, LTU colleagues, IT personnel, law enforcement officers and agents, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
