As a General Supply Specialist you will be responsible for the following duties:
Prepare material status briefings for PSNS project management staffs and attends meetings to brief material status.
Serve as the supply focal point for material support.
Review reports and schedules to determine material support requirements.
Record material status accurately and promptly in the PSNS Material Access Technology (MAT) data system.
Include all information required to support timely and efficient receipt and distribution of material.
Pass urgent material requirements to General Services Administration (GSA), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), other Navy supply agencies and Contracting.
Expedite the acquisition and movement of material.
