General Engineer

About the Position: This position serves as the Facility Engineer, performing professional civil, mechanical and electrical engineering services involving development of designs, plans and job order inspection and approval. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Prepare specification for projects involving construction ,renovations ,installation of equipment and lightning detection system.

Develop projects cost estimate and budget for construction, modification, renovation, and maintenance.

Review contracts reports and materials to ensure compliance with project objectives and standards.

Provide technical advice to Contracting Officers on a wide variety of installation contracts laws and regulations for compliance.
