Bar Assistant

About the position: This position will be assigned to the Clear Space Force Station, Alaska. Must be neat, well-groomed, and dependable. Must be able to exercise tact and diplomacy when dealing with management, co-workers, and patrons.

Must be able to adhere to all safety, security, fire, and health standards. This is a flexible position, which means there are 0 guaranteed hours and is not eligible for benefits.

Carries supplies and equipment such as liquors, fruit, ice, glasses, linens and silver ware from storage areas to the bar. Slices and peels fruit. Fills ice bins and crushes ice.

Washes and cleans bar glasses, bar equipment and keep the work area clean and neat. Replaces empty beer kegs with full kegs with the aid of a dolly; stocks beer coolers. Wipes down the interior and exterior surfaces of coolers.

Helps in setting up service bars and portable bars. carries debris to waste containers. May serve bottle beer, soft drinks and draw beer from kegs.
