Job description

You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the PROGRAM SUPPORT DIVISION of the CITIZENSHIP DEVELOPMENT DIRECTORATE of the NAVY JUNIOR RESERVE OFFICERS' TRAINING CORPS (NJROTC) program of NSTC GREAT LAKES. *** This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number: ST-13025496-26-MHL. You will provide supply support for production, overhaul, repair or other operations for equipment.

You will determine required stock levels for recurring, non-recurring and specialized items based on usage and needs.

You will survey and transfer property to Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Service or appropriate authority in accordance with Navy Supply manuals.

You will make purchases utilizing the Government Purchase Card including purchases made in person and over the phone.

You will select best source of information, research catalog databases to locate most cost- effective supplies, new products, and authorized substitutes for stock items.

You will perform a variety of record keeping, updating manuals on policies, directives, reporting and information duties.

You will prepare memoranda and other routine correspondence.
