Job description

This position is in Region 3, Water Division, Wetlands Branch. About this organization: Region 3 This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis.

You will: Direct the Wetlands Branch by developing goals and objectives that integrate the objectives of the organization and program. Supervise assigned staff by counseling them on established policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Represent the organizational unit and Agency by establishing, developing, and maintaining effective working relationships with internal regional and headquarters partners, and with external partners and stakeholders at the local, state, and federal levels, communicates the permit program's positions within established policy, and resolves coordination issues.

You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements. One or more positions may be filled (in the organization advertised and/or in other organizations), if appropriate to the position.
