SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (EMPLOYEE BENEFITS)

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a branch chief over two teams of Human Resources Specialists providing technical advice/processing for civilian benefits and entitlements.

Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Technical/Retirement Branch, ensuring that benefits and entitlements comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities over two team leaders and assigned specialists in grades GS-9 through GS-11 Represents the Benefits and Entitlements Division with a variety of installation and functional area organizations Participates in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments
