About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Strategic Systems Support Element (SSSE), Alexandria, VA.
Serve as a senior liaison officer with the responsibility for coordinating with external agencies on SIGINT requirements, requests for information/assistance, and operational/administrative support.
Synchronize the unit's operations with external partner headquarters to facilitate ongoing and future operations.
Create unique authorities documents supporting operations and completes all additional tasks assigned by the G3.
Provide interface between relevant offices and the organization in order to gain support for requirements, de conflict efforts, and provide information on resources, plans, and strategies.
Develop and evaluate operational proposals, plans, studies and guidelines for adherence to current operational capabilities and conformity to public law, regulations, policy and directives.
Plan, develop, prepare, and present formal and informal briefings and documents to senior level officials' partner headquarters.
Coordinate and monitors the planning, research, review, evaluation, and organization of SIGINT analysis. Identifies information gaps and proposes collection requirements to meet current and anticipated intelligence needs and requirements.
Advise the command on SIGINT policy.
Maintain direct liaison and encourages, promotes and coordination and planning with counterpart specialists throughout the Intelligence Community including real time interface and communication with partner headquarters offices.
