HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY)

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY), Position Description Number D3026000 and is part of the CO JFHQ AIR CMD, National Guard. This position is located at the State Air National Guard (ANG) Headquarters and serves as the Military Personnel Management Officer (MPMO).

The purpose of this position is to provide staff assistance, guidance, and direction on ANG personnel, administration, training, recruiting, retention, incentives, and budgetary matters to the Director of Staff-Air (DOSA), the Adjutant General, the Assistant Adjutant General (Air), state ANG staff, and state ANG units. Develops and ensures compliance with state-level military personnel programs, publications, policies, and procedures. Develops and executes the State Force Management Plan based on the Unit Manning Document. Serves as the assistant to the DOSA and ensures continuity of operations in their absence.

Leads and executes statewide personnel management initiatives aligned with A1 Transformations and modernization efforts. Performs other duties as assigned.
