Job description

As a HR Specialist (Performance Management), you will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and administering the performance management program and the Performance Management and Compensation (PMCS) tool. This position is located in the Office of Human Capital / Workforce Relations & Performance Management's (WRPM). Location of this position is Washington, DC

As a HR Specialist (Performance Management), you will: Support the performance management program in providing independent expert level advice, counseling, and guidance to OCC managers and employees, and to Human Resources staff on the performance management program and policy. Prepare various reports and communication tools to market, promote, and inform managers and employees regarding the performance management program. Follow up to assure implementation of new plans and policies is successful and that program objectives are met.

Coordinate performance management work products with HR managers, colleagues, OCC customers, and consultants. Ensure the timely delivery or completion of all products or services by anticipating problems and finding solutions or alternatives for all customers. Monitor and track the performance management program, including ensuring that key dates in the performance appraisal cycle are met and documented in the agencies internal tracking systems.

Serve as program/project technical advisor for work groups on performance management initiatives, projects and program studies. Provide training to staff members on performance management.
