About the Position: This position is located at Bassett Army Community Hospital, Fort Wainwright Alaska. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Federal employees in Alaska are currently entitled to receive a 1.49% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. This is subject to change.

Perform inter-oral procedures such as take preliminary impressions for study models, remove sutures, and place and remove rubber dams, perio-packs and matrix bands and wedges.

Operate dental X-ray equipment to take intra and extra-oral radiographs.

Assists dentist with simple and complex procedures such as tooth removal, surgical removal of impacted teeth, alveoloplasty, minor preprosthetic surgery of hard and soft tissues, and excisional biopsies.

Maintain dental equipment in a clean and operative condition.

Prepare and arrange all instruments and materials needed for each treatment.
