Budget Officer

If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for the formulation, presentation, and executing phases of the district's short and long-range budget. Typical work assignments will include: Supervises subordinate staff. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, set goals and priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.

Develops and maintains an integrated financial planning and reporting system that involves both long-range programmatic plans and the annual budget as a key segment of those plans. Plans and carries out an accounting program within appropriate delegation. Provides technical guidance to management team in the identification of future resource requirements, and in the planning and development of future budget requirements.

Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
